Alexander Djikia Born in 1957 in Tbilisi (Georgia) Djikia studied drawing under Nikolay Markarov from 1978-79 and holds an Master's Degree from the Moscow Architecture Institute. He was a member of the Kvartart Group in Moscow from 1988-95, and in 1996 he moved to the United States. Djikia has participated in solo exhibitions at Galerie Art 5 in Berlin, Maya Polsky Gallery in Chicago, Galerie Ute Parduhn in Dusseldorf, Galerie Kicken-Pauseback in Koln, Guelman Gallery in Moscow, Galerie Koch in Kiel, Rheinisches Landmuseum in Bonn, and Stadtgalerie in Saarbrucken.
