Leonid Tishkov Born in a small town in the Urals in 1953, Tishkov graduated from medical school in 1978. By then he was already an artist. Tishkov has made the art of science his metaphor, leaving medicine early on to focus on the creation of an elaborate world of characters and symbols who inhabit his stories. He has published some of his own work, and the work of other artists, through his own DABLUS PRESS and DABLUS Foundation.
